Tank Requirements

A 10-gallon tank is suitable for a small group of guppies, but larger tanks are recommended for larger groups or for breeding purposes. Provide hiding places and plants for your guppies to explore and feel secure.

Personality

Guppy fish are social and peaceful, making them great community fish. They are active swimmers and enjoy exploring their environment. Male guppies are known for their bright colors and long tails, while female guppies are usually less colorful and have a rounder body shape.

Breeding

Breeding guppy fish is relatively easy and can be done in a community tank or a breeding tank. The gestation period for guppies is around 28 days, and females can give birth to 20-100 fry at a time. 

Raising Fry
